Origin[]
John Shore was a trumpeter of the British court who had parts specifically written for him by composers George Frideric Handel and Henry Purcell. He was also the inventor of the tuning fork.
Effects[]
When tapped on an object and then rested against it, it conducts sound through the object. This usually causes an object to release a harmonious melody or a series of vibrations before naturally wearing out.
