Origin[]
John Pemberton was a pharmacist who first brewed the popular soft drink Coca-Cola. During his time in the Confederate Army, he suffered a sword injury across the chest and became addicted to morphine from treatments. He wanted to find an opium-free alternative to painkillers and experimented with coca nuts and leaves.
The result, originally intended to alleviate stress and addiction instead became the most famous non-alcoholic beverage in the world. The Coca-Cola Company later on removed all ingredients involving cocaine from the recipe.
Effects[]
Turns anything that is stirred with the spoon turns into standard Coca-Cola. Depending on the substance, tiny bubbles can form within the mix. Although they are just solidified portions of cola, they actually possess the same stimulating and addictive properties of cocaine. Taking these pieces with the rest of the Coke can cause noticeable spikes in depression, anxiety and substance abuse.
