OriginEdit

Jim Thorpe was an all around athlete of both Native American and European ancestry. He professionally played football, basketball and baseball and won gold medals in the 1912 Olympics for the pentathlon and decathlon. After review, he lost his titles for playing semi-professional before the Olympics and competing in amateur events. However, his medals were restored to him many decades later. He played until the beginning of the Great Depression, where he struggled with drinking and finding employment outside sports. Thorpe was voted in a poll the Greatest Athlete of the Twentieth Century out of 15 other athletes including Muhammad Ali, Babe Ruth, Jesse Owens, Wayne Gretzky, Jack Nicklaus, and Michael Jordan.

EffectsEdit

The user’s athletic abilities will be boosted, allowing them to compete toe-to-toe with professional players. Their muscular output, speed and hand-eye coordination will increase exponentially, while fatigue will be impeded. Any sport or event they participate in will become easy to them. However, outside of sports, the user will have extreme difficulty performing tasks and fall back on drinking.
