OriginEdit

Jeopardy! is an American game show where contestants answer trivia questions for cash prizes. On air for over 50 years on a weekly syndication basis, the current host is Alex Trebek. Three players would try to be the first to correctly answer the chosen category’s question. Failing to do so allows another player to swoop in and state the correct answer. Whenever a contestant thinks they know the answer, they must always state said answer in question form.

The show’s simple premise has led to many winners over the seasons and increased its recognition in popular culture, such as its famous theme music and week long challenge where returning champions competed against an IBM computing system.

EffectsEdit

Those behind then will answer anything in the form of a question. They will also feel the need to answer every question they hear or see, even if they have no knowledge of the subject beforehand.
