OriginEdit

When Jeanne de Clisson's husband, Olivier, was arrested, tried, and executed after the Truce of Malestroit was signed. Swearing retribution against the French King, Phillip VI and Charles de Blois, she led various attacks against castles and garrisons, succeeding in killing many.

After the fighting in Brittany became too intense, she gained a large group of Breton sympathizers with the help of the English King, and outfitted three warships, each painted black, with red sails. Using these ships, they patrolled the English Channel, hunting down French ships to slaughter many of their crews, only leaving a few survivors to tell the French King of the attacks. These attacks earned her the moniker, "The Lioness of Brittany". During the Battle of Crecy, Jeanne used her ships to supply English forces.

EffectsEdit

When anyone boards these ships, they are instantly filled with the hatred Jeanne felt for the French and the French power. The longer one stays aboard, the more violent they will become until they act out through murder.
