OriginEdit

Jean Hillliard miraculously survived exposure to sub-zero temperatures during a nighttime trek. Her car stopped running and she was forced to walk across forested Minnesota to reach a friend’s house, approximately six hours in frigid weather. Emergency personnel rushed her to the hospital, reporting her skin was too stiff to inject and her temperature too low to register. Unresponsive to light and with barely a heartbeat, doctors were puzzled how to improve her condition.

Two hours with a heating blanket, and a bit of family prayer, Hilliard awoke perfectly alright. The frostbite quickly receded and within 49 days, she left the hospital without any injuries.

EffectsEdit

The wearer will be frozen solid, plummeting their core body temperature to the allowable limit. Life signs including respiration, blood pressure and even nerve sensitivity will appear to have stopped entirely. As a result, all muscles will become tensed and the victim is effectively paralyzed during the process. However, applying a concentrated amount of direct thermal heat will free them from their stupor without harm.
