Origin[]
James W. Marshall was a sawmill operator working on the land of John Sutter when he discovered gold in a California river. They ran some simple tests and determined it to be near pure gold. News quickly spread and people from all over the world quickly traveled west to find their riches. Because of the California Gold Rush, no one worked on finishing the mill. It fell into disrepair and neither Marshall or Sutter profited from their momentous discovery.
Effects[]
It will turn water and dirt placed in it into gold nuggets. From the mud, medium sized but high quality pieces will be found. The process continues until all the mud has been transmuted into gold. However, anyone that uses the gold will experience failures in their business.
