James Joseph Gandolfini, Jr. (September 18, 1961 – June 19, 2013) was an American actor. He was best known for his role as Tony Soprano, an American Mafia crime boss in the award-winning HBO series the Sopranos. He garnered praise for his portrayal of Soprano, winning three Emmy Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards and one Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series. His other notable roles include woman-beating mob henchman Virgil in True Romance (1993), enforcer and stuntman Bear in Get Shorty (1995), and impulsive Wild Thing Carol in Where the Wild Things Are (2009).

"Made in America" was the final episode of The Sopranos became infamous for its ending. In the last few minutes, Tony Soprano arrives at a diner and begins to play "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey on a jukebox. In the last seconds, Tony looks at the door when the bell rings, and the screen cuts to black for 10 seconds.

James Gandolfini was given the jukebox as a gift by the producers of the show when it ended. It absorbed the feelings of the viewers' shock at the 10 seconds of black. When the song Don't Stop Believin by Journey is chosen, everyone around the jukebox will freeze. However, the user will be able to freely move around for the 10 seconds the effect lasts. Afterwards, the user will hear "Don't Stop" for an hour after use.
