OriginEdit

Jack Vettriano, born Jack Hoggan, is a self-taught contemporary painter from Scotland. Despite a very poor upbringing, relentless criticism from experts, and continued rejection from art galleries, has become one of the most successful artists in the world. His painting, "The Singing Butler", has become the most widely distributed print in the UK. His work is featured in numerous galleries, art shows, and famous private collections.

Despite the critics and his own long, struggling career, he has made a name for himself in the art world.

EffectsEdit

Those that own the painting will find that their critics will face public humiliation. Whether it generates bad luck, or just alters probability, those that give negative criticism to the owner will fall victim to an embarrassing scenario.

However, the caveat is that the owner will have to wait a long time, possibly decades, before his/her work is given the proper credit.

CollectionEdit

Collected and replaced at the Aberdeen Art Gallery after several art critics inexplicably developed loud flatulence and belching fits at the same time.
