Origins[]
Izanagi is the Shinto god, who along with his wife Izanami, created the islands of Japan and descended onto them. There, they would give birth to many of the deities in Japanese mythology. When Izanami died, she was taken to the Underworld and was unable to leave. Izanagi goes in looking for her; he finds her, but cannot take her home since her bondage is permanent.
Trying to get one last look at his beloved, he lights his comb on fire to get a better look. She is at this point a rotting body and scares Izanagi into fleeing from the underworld. Izanami sets deities to chase after Izanagi, who promptly holes up the gateway to hell. Izanami angrily says she will kill a thousand a day, while Izanagi replies he will give birth to fifteen hundred a day.
Effects[]
The comb, when thrown on the ground, will rapidly create a growth of bamboo shoots in all directions. When this growth stops however, any organic matter nearby starts to disintegrate and rot away into nothingness.
