The first body discovered had markings of being stabbed multiple times, the second was shot multiple times. The third and fifth bodies were also stabbed while the fourth was beaten to death. The sixth was decapitated, the seventh was shot. One key point that led to Milat's arrest was the trophies of all the victim's backpacks were discovered inside of his house.
