Origin[]
Ignaz (Ignace) Venetz (1788 — 1859) was a Swiss engineer, naturalist, and glaciologist; as one of the first scientists to recognize glaciers as a major force in shaping the earth, he played a leading role in the foundation of glaciology.
Effects[]
When touched, the ice pick will encapsulate the victim in a very thick layer of ice and will suffocate its user if the pick isn't neutralized. Can also induce hypothermia after a period of time, if the user can find a way to breathe.
Collection[]
Collected by C.H. Keller on September 22nd, 1889 during the reign of Warehouse 12.
