OriginEdit

Ida Lewis was a lighthouse keeper who saved many lives along the shore. She rescued many individuals from the water who had fallen off their boats and brought them to safety. She took on this responsibility alongside her normal duties of maintaining the light during her parents’ worsening health. Her rescues made her a local legend in the Newport, Rhode Island area, bringing her many followers and gifts of thanks. Some of her supporters included former Civil War generals, military leaders, politicians and even president Grant.

EffectsEdit

It has the natural tendency to move towards anybody in the water, even if they’re just floating there. However, it will quickly race towards anyone who has fallen off their ship, is drowning or in significant danger by staying in the water. It can handle itself in stormy weather and does not require an occupant to start. But, it can be helped if the user knows the local geography well or emergency care to help the victim. Once the “pilot” returns ashore, they will be praised by everyone for their great deed and receive gifts for their heroism. This actually will overwhelm some users, causing them to feel extremely stressed and tense in public.
