OriginEdit

In ancient Greek mythology, Hestia was goddess of the hearth, architecture, and the right ordering of domesticity, the family, and the state. She would receive the first offering of sacrifices made in the home. She was one of the three virgin goddesses and therefore immune to Aphrodite's powers.
