Origin[]
Henry Every (1659 - 1699) was an English pirate who operated in the Atlantic and Indian oceans in the mid-1690s. Dubbed the Arch Pirate and the King of Pirates, Avery was notorious for becoming one of the few major pirate captains to retire with his look. This was a rarity as most were either arrested or killed in battle.
He was also the perpetrator of what has been called the most profitable pirate heist in history. When he and his crew were discovered in Jamaica authorities were alerted. His crew was preparing the ship for departure while the captain had been on the docks attempting to bribe a governor for a pardon. When his ruse was discovered the docks were crowded with soldiers; Every however , along with a slave of his, managed to walk pass them unseen. Then he and his crew, minus twenty four men who were caught, vanished.
Effects[]
Makes whoever is holding and under the parasol invisible. Must be carried by one person over another, as it will not work without two people. No more, no less.
