Origin[]
Hendrick Lucifer was a Dutch pirate whose greatest bounty was the capture of a Honduran treasure fleet worth 1.2 million guilders. Hendrick fought hard to keep the treasure, but he was shot several times. As his wounds appeared fatal, he ordered the crew to transfer the stolen booty (1404 chests of Indigo, 4280 animal skins, 32 jars of balsam ointment and several other items) to his ship, after which he quickly died from his wounds.
Lucifer’s last name referred to a lighting stick, not the fallen angel, as he often used smoke and fire to unnerve his opponents.
Effects[]
Lighting one match will allow the user to summon smoke and miniscule amounts of fire from nothing. They can appear at most ten to twelve feet away from the user, although the strength is noticeably less. If the user achieves what they consider to be the best moment of their life after they started using the matchbook, they will encounter immediate tragedy that will counteract any fortune.
