OriginEdit

Heinrich Hertz was a physicist who proved the existence of the electromagnetic spectrum, first theorized by James Clark Maxwell, by using instruments that ruled out all known wireless phenomena at the time. The scientific unit of frequency – cycle per second – was named the "hertz" in his honor.

EffectsEdit

When placed in a room, all light is absorbed by it, causing complete darkness. It also has a tendency to drain the stored energy from most electrical devices.

It is kept in the science section adjacent to Heinrich Wilhelm Matthias Olbers’ Telescope, as their abilities are opposites and would naturally cancel each other out if one activated.
