Origin

Harry Craddock was an English bartender who trained in the US and became one of the most famous bartenders of the 1920s and 1930s. He is known for his tenure at the Savoy Hotel in London. He is sometimes credited with creating a number of classic cocktails, including the famous Corpse Reviver #2 and White Lady.

The shaker stayed in the Savoy until 1974, where it was being used by Joe Gilmore.

Effects

Any combination of drinks mixed in the shaker will come out perfectly blended, including any aromatics and enhancers added. All drinks, while tasting perfect, have an almost double alcohol content.

Specifically mixing a combination of ingredients to make what is known as a "Corpse Reviver" will reverse the effect, instantly purging alcohol from the body and inducing instant sobriety.
