Origin[]
Hannah Duston was a Puritan mother who lived in frontier Massachusetts. Her husband and eight children escaped capture when Abenaki warriors attacked their settlement. Having just given birth, she refused to leave and was captured along with her maid. The newborn was killed early in the journey and the pair was grouped with other colonists to be sold to French explorers. During the night, Hannah loosened her restraints, stole a tomahawk and killed ten of the capturing family. She then freed the other prisoners, scalped the dead for proof of bounty and all sailed back in a canoe.
Effects[]
Will injure the ten closest people when it grazes anyone, regardless of distance between each person. The injuries resemble blunt force trauma or sharp bladed wounds only, never firearm or elemental induced damage. Wielding in anger or under intense stress will make all injuries fatal, causing excruciating pain before death.
