Origin[]
La Main de Justice (English: The Hand of Justice) is a royal scepter that is unique to the French monarchy. The ivory hand dates back to the Middle Ages while the gold scepter was added later. The scepter symbolizes High Justice which the Monarch have authority over. In much medieval artwork, the hand designates the direct interaction of God in man's affairs and later morphed into a sign of holy blessing, granted to the nobility the right to rule others.
Effects[]
