Hal Blaine (1929 - ) is an American drummer and session musician. He is most well known for working with famous people such as Elvis Presley, John Denver, Simon & Garfunkel, the Beach Boys and many more. One of the most prolific drummers in rock and roll history he was able to listen and pick up for many different styles. Even though he was active in all the bands he was more of a background player only picking up with the original drummers of the bands were unable to perform.
