Origin[edit | edit source]
This magnifying glass was a tool used extensively by Mendel during his studies into genetics and heredity.
Effects[edit | edit source]
Examining a specimen with the magnifier allows the wielder to to spot key physical traits of heredity (no matter how small), giving nearly all the necessary information to research a pedigree. The wielder is also able to deduce whether the traits are dominant or recessive and accurately construct the specimen's genotype. (This information is actually subliminally provided by the Artifact.)
Collection[edit | edit source]
Was passed between numerous breeders and genealogists before falling into the hands of the Nazis, who used it in their search for the Aryan race. Recovered shortly after the concentration camp it was kept in was stormed by Allied forces.
