Star Wars Kid is a viral video made in 2002 by Ghyslain Raza in which he wields a golf ball retriever in imitation of Darth Maul's lightsaber moves from the file Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace. At the time Raza wasn't planning to let the video become public however he left the tape with the recording of it in the video camera and another student in his school discovered it and uploaded it to YouTube. However once fellow students discovered it was Raza who was the Star Wars Kid he became the target of bullying and cyberbully. Anonymously people posted comments telling him to kill himself, as well as students at his school bullying him to the point that he left school.
