Origin

Georges de la Tour was a French painter who mostly painted chiaroscuro scenes, which used strong contrasts between light and dark tones. The source of light in many of them were candles, enough to clearly see the scene even though in the darkness. His paintings mainly consisted of either religious scenes or gambling and cheating situations.

Effects

Transforms all light sources into candles, including lamps, flashlights, appliances and even glow sticks. However, it cannot change the sun and moon into candles. It instead blocks out any light in the atmosphere and transmits a dull glow where it should be, casting a very large but dim light. The user will experience semi-nocturnal vision, allowing them to see several yards away with clarity and even discern colors. The user will become more willing to gamble until broke and will experience outbursts of aggression and fighting.
