Origin[]
General Tso’s chicken is an Americanized dish served at Chinese restaurants. It’s normally fried and served in soy sauce with pepper and broccoli. (Often higher than the recommended daily salt intake). Qing era general Zuo Zongtang is the namesake, but chef Peng Chang-kuei created the sickly sweet glaze to appease non-Hunan palettes.
Effects[]
Like the zingy dish itself, the bones supposedly increase the liveliness of anything. Not a full revamp, but a noticeable uptick above the plain quality before. Can make colors brighter or a sickened patient feel ecstatic. Possibly causes user to permeate dark viscous goop from their skin wherever they touch or step.
Appearances[]
Mentioned in Volume I of the Warehouse 13 comic book by Claudia as one of the Chinese artifacts that aren't currently in the Warehouse.
