OriginEdit

Gardner Fox was a comic book writer for DC comics during the Golden and Silver ages of comics. He contributed storylines to Batman, the Flash, Hawkman and Justice League comics. A polymath, Fox included numerous real-world historical, scientific, and mythological references in his comic strips, once saying, "Knowledge is kind of a hobby with me". He kept many reference materials for his comics in these cabinets.

EffectsEdit

They contain a vast amount of books within them that cover a wide range of topics. When a certain subject is researched, the materials reduce to the most relevant texts. Although this has proven helpful for finding little known information, it is quite easy for the user to get distracted and off task.
