Origin[]
According to legend, just before Sir Francis Drake died he said he would come back from the dead to protect his country, England, and his drum would proceed his arrival. While he never actually appeared, his drum was noted to have been heard on several occasions, mainly during bombing raids in WWI and just before the start of WWII.
Effects[]
Beats on its own whenever England is in danger. It may beat only a few times before a major conflict and not for the rest of the war or it may beat whenever England is facing a threat, such as aerial bombings. However, it only beats on its own and it will not make any sound should someone try to beat on it.
Collection[]
Collected in 1960 by Rebecca St. Clair and Jack Second while in England. Kept in Artie's Office next to Paul Revere's Lantern.
