Origin[]
“Spooky” Fox Mulder is one of the premier psychological analysts at the FBI, which makes his keen interest in the X-Files archives a disappointment to many. Such talents turned to obsession with the trivial bunk cases filed away. Only the arrival of Dana Scully with her keen observational training lends any kind of legitimacy to their investigations, and keeps Mulder grounded. Much of his fascination with the weird stems from an unexplained childhood abduction of his younger sister. Thus began a seasons long arc exploring the extent of the paranormal, the alien and the conspiracies underlying their existence.
Effects[]
Detects weirdness most would deem paranormal, unusual, spectacular – anything which alters or deviates from standard occurrences. The picture begins shimmering, with the spacecraft floating around and the trees beneath rustling. Reacts strongly to artifacts and nearby usage, causing the UFO to fly out of the frame and float midair.
Nearby people will experience a strong duty to investigate the truth for whatever reason: social responsibility, greed, paranoid delusions. Most cases lead to severe digression in social niceties, much more severe than Artie on a bad day.
