Origin[]
The Flannan Isles are a chain of islands located off the coast of Scotland. They have remained empty since the automation of its lighthouse in 1971. However, the legend persists about the mysterious disappearance of its three lighthouse keepers in 1900. A steamer had arrived to escape inclement weather when they noticed there was no sign of people on the island. A search of the lighthouse by the crew revealed the three lighthouse keepers where nowhere to be found. Food and safety supplies were missing, all the clocks were stopped a week prior and all logs documented their location until a week before their arrival. While several theories have been suggested, the most plausible is that they were swept out to sea while performing maintenance duties during a storm.
Effects[]
Contacting water will cause the user to slowly disappear. Droplets and mist will cause small areas of the body to briefly fade away and then return. Large amounts however will cause an immediate and permanent removal of their corporeal form, leaving only a soaked raincoat in their place.
