Origin

Warehouse agents intercepted a police report from a small rural farm an hour out of Brownville, Maine. A distraught woman called in to report the death and subsequent mauling of her husband, Mr. Nick Stagg. Mrs. Stagg reported that he had gone out to examine the fields following suspicious noises the night before. She described the sounds as "like roaring but metal". When her husband did not return, she found him dead and severely mutilated with tire treads leading away from the scene and into the nearby woods. Coroner reports likened the attack wounds to that of a large predator, though no organs were reported missing. The farm tractor was also reported stolen, its tires matching the tracks from the scene.

Warehouse agents arrived two days later and examined the site, a task which proved difficult due to seasonal rain. Following a trail in the woods, seemingly caused by the tractor crushing through undergrowth, agents eventually came across the machine parked next to a large and rain-flooded river. Approaching the tractor proved deadly, however, as it responded to their presence by "roaring" at them and fatally running one agent down. It was then observed tilting forward, mashing its grill into the carcass as if attempting to consume it. This succeeded only in further mutilating the body, causing the other agent to flee in terror and disgust.

Upon acquiring reinforcements the agent attempted to locate the tractor again, but proved unable to. The search was abandoned after six days with no sighting, although the telltale "roar" was heard several times at varying distances. As of 2018 the tractor has not been reported to kill again, although infrequent sightings do occur. It is considered a High Priority case should the opportunity to capture arise.
