OriginEdit

The Falchion sword is a divine blade within the Fire Emblem series, appearing in several games. Wieldable only by a total of four characters across five of the fourteen games. The blade is considered a gift, made from one tooth of the divine dragon Naga. While the blade never dulls, the handle does wear, and has been replaced several times over the course of the games. It has been pivotal in defeating end-game antagonists.

Tony Swatton, also known as ManAtArms, is a master blacksmith who made a real-life version of the Falchion from Fire Emblem: Awakening. The video can be seen here, published on December 30, 2013.

EffectsEdit

The Blade absorbed the desire of the Fire Emblem fandom to see a real life version of the sword from the Awakening game, becoming an artifact. Its behavior is similar to that in the games, with a sharp blade that never dulls no matter how much usage it sees. Unlike the games, however, it has also shown to be an effective tool in fighting monsters and physical apparitions created by artifacts.

The artifact is very picky, however. It only recognizes certain people, and its blade turns completely dull if it doesn't recognize the holder.

CollectionEdit

Collected from Tokyo, Japan in April 2016 by Agents Myka Bering and Megan Wilcoxson. Megan had a hunch that the Blade could be an artifact, though it wasn't until it was tested with spray neutralizer that it was confirmed to be an artifact. It was later used by Agent Bering to fight against the monsters being created by The Dark Crystal.

Handling RequirementsEdit

Neutralizer gloves are mandatory. Usage is only recommended in specific circumstances to be determined by the Head Supervisor or higher, and only by agents the artifact has recognized. Agents wishing to test their ability to use the blade must do so under the supervision of the Head Supervisor or higher.

TriviaEdit

  • At present, Agent Myka Bering is the only one among the Warehouse personnel who has tried to use the artifact that the Falchion has accepted and will work for.
    • Agents Claudia Donovan, Pete Lattimer and Megan Wilcoxson have tested the artifact, but the artifact did not recognize them.
    • Agent Aden Taylor was once asked to try the artifact, only for him to turn it down and hold up his sword and dagger, saying that he prefers his own weapons and abilities.
