Origin[]
Taken from the home of elderly widow, Åshild Holmsen, who originally had a photo of her husband Rolf Holmsen, inside it before his death in 1992.
Sinking into a deep depression from her husbands death, she became a shut in and developed early Alzheimer before her death in 1996. With the loss of her husband and her developing Alzheimer's disease, the frame became imbued with the ability to fade away people, like her husband faded away from her memory.
Effects[]
When a picture of a person or an item is in the frame, it will slowly cause that person or item to slowly fade away. Persons or items can become intangible until fully fading, unless the frame is neutralized or the picture is taken out.
The process takes around three hours for a person to fully fade away. People will start to slowly forget about the persons in the picture frame the longer the picture is inside the frame.
Collection[]
Collected by Arthur Nielsen on June 15th, 1999.
Pete Lattimer accidentally used this when an artifact disturbance had the artifact placed in the office for re-shelving. Thinking it was the picture frame he bought in Univille and placing the normal picture frame down in the stacks, he placed a picture of his Warehouse family inside. After a slow day at the Warehouse, everyone had gone into town to do their own errands, when they all slowly started to realize they were slightly translucent and starting to become intangible.
They recruited two teens outside of the diner in town, James and Amy, to become their hands as they made their way to the Warehouse to neutralize the frame before Artie, Claudia, Steve, Pete and Myka faded away completely.
