Origin[]
Ezra Meeker was an American pioneer who traveled the Oregon Trail by ox-drawn wagon as a young man, migrating from Iowa to the Pacific Coast. Once known as the "Hop King of the World", he was the first mayor of Puyallup, Washington. When an aphid infestation ruined his crop of hops, he made several unsuccessful attempts prospecting in the Klondike. Meeker became convinced the Oregon Trail had been forgotten and worked to memorialize the Trail. In his late 70s, he retraced his original route and laid down monument markers, completing the course several times over his life.
Effects[]
Brewed during Meeker’s first trip upon the Oregon Trial. Allows the drinker to recall in extreme detail their surroundings from the last 24 hours. The user will feel unsatisfied with their current life and past achievements, either moping in misery or deciding to conquer new challenges.
