Origin[]
Elizabeth I was Queen of England and Ireland and the last of the monarchs of the House of Tudor.
She was known to have a love of sweets, but a fear of dentists, causing her to lose most of her teeth as she grew older and those that remained to become heavily stained, and her speech to become difficult to understand.
During her reign she relied on the support and knowledge of, and developed many close relationships with, others. Shortly before her death, a series of deaths among her friends plunged her into a severe depression, the passing of the cousin of a close friend being a particularly close blow. She soon fell ill and remained in a near-catatonic melancholy, sitting motionless in one place for hours on end.
Although likely apocryphal, her last words were reported to be "All my possessions for one moment of time."
Effects[]
This ribbon displays no abnormal properties when simply worn in one's hair; when removed while worn, the user will travel back to a moment in their past.
However, the wearer does not travel back in time within their own time continuum; rather, they are returned to an equivalent moment in their past in a new timeline, which may differ from the one they just left in ways either minute or extreme.
This "temporal reset" can only be activated if the user removes the ribbon while completely willing to leave their current continuum and everything in it, such as personal belongings and relationships, behind.
