Origin[]
Queen Anne's Revenge was a frigate, famously used as a flagship by the pirate Blackbeard (Edward Teach). It was built in 1710, captured by Blackbeard in 1717 then ran aground in 1718. Even though he only captained her for less than a year, Blackbeard claimed many prizes like other ships for his fleet. Towards the end Blackbeard himself was granted a pardon, so he ran the Anne into the Beaufort Inlet in order to make sure his crew escaped. Pirate blood however is hard to wash and even though he was pardoned, Blackbeard returned to piracy and was later killed in battle.
Effects[]
Many negative ones, a few not known yet. One major one is that when it creates a swathe of fog it can sail above. It forms even when on land and is too thick for any vision or instrument to penetrate.
