OriginEdit

Once owned by the ferocious pirate Blackbeard A.K.A. Edward Teach, Captain of the Queen Anne's Revenge, who had a reputation of lighting fuses in his beard to intimidate his foes. The sword disappeared after Blackbeard's death and was suspected to have been acquired by British forces during his capture.

It resurfaced in 1838 when a man named Thomas Millbank used to to facilitate several attacks under the pseudonym "Springheel Jack". Warehouse agents recovered the sword and a pair of boots from him before his trial where he would be proven innocent due to his "inability to breathe fire".

Warehouse agents would make use of the sword themselves during covert recoveries until 1873, when an agent combusted in the field.

EffectsEdit

When held the sword projects a powerful hallucinogenic haze that obscured their figure, save for glowing red eyes. It will appear they are made of thick black smoke with points of burning embers on their body. This has the obvious effect of intimidating most individuals, although those considered allies by the wielder will not notice anything out of the ordinary.

If the effects are allowed to continue too long they begin to physically manifest, with small embers forming on the user. If not stopped they will eventually ignite.
