Origin[]
Edward Abbey was an American author and essayist noted for his advocacy of environmental issues, criticism of public land policies and anarchist political views. Many of his ideas are explored in the novel “The Monkey Wrench Gang”, which values the ideal of sabotage to protect the environment. His works helped inspire several of the most famous radical environmental groups, such as Earth First!
Effects[]
The monkey wrench can restore any part of the environment to its original, healthier state. It will cleanse the area it touches of pollution and replenish nutrients in the soil or water. Also, the wrench can cause any form of technology to fall apart and become unusable, especially machinery. The user will develop a great distrust over federal and corporate entities.
