Origin[edit | edit source]
Edvard Hagerup Grieg (June 15, 1843-September 4, 1907) was a Norwegian composer and pianist. He is widely considered one of the leading Romantic era composers, and his music is part of the standard classical repertoire worldwide. His use and development of Norwegian folk music in his own compositions put the music of Norway in the international spectrum, as well as helping to develop a national identity.
Effects[edit | edit source]
This metronome was used by Grieg while he was composing In the Hall of the Mountian King. When used, anyone that can hear the metronome will go haywire, causing chaos. The effect lasts for around 5 minutes. Whoever heard the metronome will hear In the Hall of the Mountain King after the metronome stops.
