Origin[]

Edward Joel Pennington (1858 - 1911) was part inventor and small part con-artist as he invented normal Motorcycles and special ones. When it came to selling his inventions to investors he'd come up with grandiose claims, an example was that one of his motorcycles could go up and down the coast on one tank of fuel. However those who backed his business ventures rarely collected their dividends from him. A lot of people considered him to be a con-man guilty of fraud however he was never arrested for any crime. His motor seemed to absorb his grandeur thoughts and antics being a pain in the ass over a real threat.

Effects[]

Nothing harmful can come from this artifact. A solid looking motorcycle appears and races around the area. So realistic it can fool people into thinking they are going to be run down. The apparition looks like a 1900s Motorcycle, a bicycle with a motor attached to it, except the rubber tires were balloon ones, the engine's cracks are connected directly to rear axle and the cylinders have no cooling fins.

Collection[]

Attendance at the Bedform Museum and Art Gallery dipped when word spread of a haunted motorcycle rider tormented attendees. Warehouse Agents went in and switched out the 1896 Kane Pennington engine with a fake and the 'hauntings' ceased
