OriginEdit

Duns Scotus was one of the three most important philosopher-theologians of the High Middle Ages. Many of his doctrines debated and defined the meanings of existence. Univocity of being, where the existence of one concept applies to all things that exist, including God and people. Formal distinction, a way of distinguishing between different aspects of the same thing, and the idea of haecceity, the property supposed to be in each individual thing that makes it an individual. After he unexpectedly died, a story formed that Duns Scotus was buried alive due to the absence of his servant who alone knew of his susceptibility to coma.

EffectsEdit

Touching the handle even momentarily will bury the user in an avalanche of dirt. Depending on the local nearby conditions, the soil can have large quantities of mud, sand, rocks and even concrete present. The aggregate itself is actually quite easy to break free of if they react fast enough. The user’s window of escape is a minute to resurface; afterwards they will asphyxiate.
