Origin[]
In 1991 Doug Bower and Dave Chorley came out making headlines claiming that it was they who had started the phenomenon in 1978 with the use of simple tools consisting of a plank of wood, rope and a baseball cap fitted with a loop of wire. Of course a lot of people thought they were lying so to prove themselves they invited journalists to watch them do their work. Afterwards they invited a cereologists (an advocate of paranormal explanations of crop circles) who declared it to be authentic. Chorley and Bower advised press that they started in good fun, taking inspiration from the Australian crop circle accounts from 1966.
Effects[]
Placing the wooden planks in the center of a field and waiting twenty four hours the planks would have crafted amazing crop circles in the grass.
