Origin

Dorothy Gibson was a silent film actress and a survivor from the Titanic. She starred in the first movie based on the disaster, The Sinking of the Titanic. The movie premiered a month after the sinking, detailing a fictional version of Gibson. She even wore the exact same clothes the night it sank, a dress with a cardigan and polo. The film is now considered lost, as most copies were destroyed in a studio fire. It was also the last film that Dorothy Gibson ever made, as she suffered a mental breakdown afterwards.

Effects

The wearer will experience the worst day of their life all over again. It will constantly replay the course of events in the user’s mind and alter the environment to resemble the memory. The effect continues even after the cardigan is taken off. With prolonged use, the effect grows worse and essentially becomes mental torture. The high amount of anxiety can lead to insanity or a mental breakdown.
