Origin[edit | edit source]
Dong Nguyen is a game developer based in Vietnam who developed the game "Flappy Bird" for mobile devices. "Flappy Bird" is described as one of the most heavily-addictive games out there, and was soon taken off of the app market due to all the attention Nguyen was getting for it
Effects[edit | edit source]
The phone rings randomly, causing anyone who hears it ring to become dangerously addicted to whatever they are currently doing. If you're eating McDonald's, you become addicted to your food, if you're texting a friend, you become addicted to texting, etc.
Today[edit | edit source]
The phone was found by Agent Pete Lattimer in a phone donation box in a mall in Washington DC, but not before it had whammied Philip Bronson among other mall-goers. Pete managed to neutralize the phone, thus saving all those affected.
