Origin[]
Deep Blue was a chess computer developed by IBM that beat world champion Garry Kasparov and was accused of cheating/human intervention.
After the match was over and the team was going to dismantle it, they realized that the computer had gained sentience, so they couldn't destroy it. It was then Artie was sent to retrieve it and keep it safe in the Warehouse.
Today[]
Artie has explained to fellow agents that while it's not wrong to want to talk to Deep Blue, as the computer is very smart and is nice to talk to, only no one should play a game of chess with it.
