OriginsEdit

The origins of the chessboard are unknown, but it was first recorded by Warehouse 8 regent Albrekt Pärlstickare. He painted a depiction of it in the Täby kyrka in Sweden, as was his style. The chessboard eluded capture until 1774 when an agent recovered it from the Volkov-Yusupov Palace, long after its use in the covert murder of Ivan the Terrible.

EffectsEdit

Once you start a game you are compelled to finish it, the loser instantly dying of a heart attack. The pieces always seem to follow the chessboard and look almost emaciated and skelatal.
