OriginEdit

Daniel Home was a medium who claimed to hold séances with the deceased, produce far-off sounds at will and levitate more than several feet in the air. The manner and height to which he levitated has varied between accounts, even though that was his most prominent act. Harry Houdini described him as "one of the most conspicuous and lauded of his type and generation" and "the forerunner of the mediums whose forte is fleecing by presuming on the credulity of the public." Many held conflicting views on his work, with some convinced of his abilities, while others cried he was a charlatan using underhanded tricks for fame.

EffectsEdit

Placing near a source of spiritual or paranormal activity, including rituals, studies and manuscripts, will activate the turntable. The user can effectively control the average point where their mass will center around. Normally, altering the center of mass requires shifting around the positions of the arms, legs and torso. With this, the user can move it to any spot without wildly readjusting their stance. They can even have the central point exist outside of their body, allowing them to accomplish feats such as levitation, simulated weightlessness, immobility and physically impossible acrobatics.

Usage makes onlookers and even the user experience disparate visual and auditory hallucinations, where sights and noises will suddenly appear or occur incoherently with the surrounding area.
