Daft Punk is an electronic music duo noted for its elaborate live shows including visual effects corresponding with the music. Daft Punk is also known for its use of disguises, particularly the ornate robot costumes, while in public and/or performing.

Artie had recieved a call from David Bowie about a problem that was going on with the duo Daft Punk; it seemed they were being completely withdrawn. So Mr. Kipling and Claudia were sent over to check it out. They both confronted the duo and noticed they were focusing too much on making music and even when they responded, they seemed to act robotic. So the two managed to get both members out of their costumes, which caused them to become human again. After making sure the costumes were stored properly, Mr. Kipling and Claudia were treated to a backstage pass of a show that the group performed at, as a way of being thanked for helping them.
