OriginEdit

Cy Young played as a pitcher for five teams in Major League Baseball, setting various records that have withstood newcomers. He possesses 511 wins, almost 100 more than the next highest player. In addition to wins, Young still holds the major league records for most career innings pitched (7,356), most career games started (815), most complete games (749) and most losses (316) in MLB history. Although he possessed great throwing speed, he lacked control and accuracy until his later years when the force behind his throws started to mellow.

EffectsEdit

Merely flicking it nonchalantly will cause the ball to zoom through the air at high speeds. Placing energy into the delivery can cause broken bones, chipped stone and even obliterate water to a fine mist. However, it lacks the same degree of control. It bouncing, bobbing or going completely off course are expected when throwing.
