Origin[]
Cleopatra was the last female pharaoh of independent Egypt. She was romantically engaged with both Marc Antony and Caesar of Egypt before the eventual takeover of Egypt. Rather than become a puppet leader or a war trophy, she killed herself using a poison asp hidden within a basket of figs brought to her by a servant.
This artifact was mentioned on the SyFy website as an artifact collected under the reign of Warehouse 2 and in the novel "A Touch of Fever", where it is referred to as her "pet asp".
Effects[]
When it senses desperation and heartbreak nearby, the skin will become an actual snake. The snake will find the nearest person and bite him/her. One bite will cause death in less than a minute. After the person is bitten the snake will revert back to skin. To prevent bites the snake should be splashed with neutralizer.
Collection[]
Recovered from Warehouse 2 after emptying the sand.
