Origin[]
Claude Louis Berthollet (1748 - 1822) was a Savoyard-French chemist who was known for his scientific contributions to the theory of chemical equilibria through the mechanism of reverse chemical reactions. Using this process he proved that prussic acid didn't contain oxygen contributing to acid theory. The main process he discovered to aid in the acid theory research was that certain reactants form products, which react together to give the reactants back. Weak acids and bases undertake reversible reactions. Berthollet came to this conclusion after observing the formation of sodium carbonate crystals at the edge of a salt lake.
Effects[]
When opened releases hydrogen cyanide gas.
Collection[]
Was collected with several others when Amon Goth was taken in for Bronzing.
